You can simply get updates about our work and quick actions you can take, or you can opt to support our community by taking part in regular actions. Regardless of your level of involvement, everyone is welcome to join our WhatsApp community of parents to talk about ideas and be empowered.

• If you just want news updates, we can notify you through our WhatsApp announcement channel, occasional emails and through our socials - if you decide to follow us.

• If you’d like more regular involvement, you can:

  • Join our monthly Zoom meetings to discuss different climate/social justice topics

  • Host one of our monthly Zoom meetings on a topic you have knowledge on

  • Access guidance on setting up clothes swaps, toy swaps and school bike/walking buses

  • Take advantage of our insurance and budget for community events

  • Write a blog for our website

  • Learn how to talk to councillors, MPs or MSPs and write letters, with support from us

  • Help translate materials like social media content, policies and articles

  • Support climate sessions for people from the global majority by interpreting, holding group discussions, or even just having a chat and making tea!

  • Join local and national campaigns on travel and fossil fuels, and share relevant information with the group

  • Share your views via social media video clips

  • Train to become a school speaker and create spaces for discussions on climate issues for parents

  • Know that you’re not alone in trying to make a positive difference on important issues that affect your community
